Bose Partners With Barco On New Meeting Room Solution

Bose Professional is partnering with Barco to offer a complete meeting solution, combining the new Bose Videobar VB1 all-in-one USB conferencing device with Barco Clickshare Conference.

Bose Professional is now partnering with Barco to offer a complete audiovisual meeting solution, following the recent announcement of availability of the Bose Videobar VB1 all-in-one USB conferencing device. The Videobar VB1 can be combined with any Barco ClickShare Conference device, getting meetings up quickly and running smoothly with premium audio and video.

The Videobar VB1 is ClickShare Certified, ensuring interoperability with Barco technology. Pairing ClickShare Conference with the Videobar VB1 significantly reduces the need for wired components in conferencing spaces. and so declutters work areas and simplifies the act of joining meetings to a single button.

The Bose Videobar VB1 uses six beam-steering microphones that actively focus on voices in the room and reject noise. The Bose-proprietary transducers reproduce accurate, room-filling audio from multimedia presentations, play Bluetooth audio and ensure voices sound natural and clear. The 4K ultra-HD camera with autoframing delivers crystal-clear video, so remote participants can see presenters, whiteboards and other in-room objects. Its single-cable USB connectivity means there’s no need for separate audio and video cables at the table, reducing clutter, and it can be mounted to suit the space using the included table stand or wall-mount kit.

For rooms with different configurations requiring additional mic pickup, yet also requiring the in-room technology to remain transparent, IT managers can add Barco ClickShare Conference to one of the Bose in-ceiling audio solutions. The innovative Bose ES1 system features the Bose EdgeMax in-ceiling loudspeaker, while the more conventional Bose DS4 system features four DesignMax DM2C-LP loudspeakers. Each solution is combined with the Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone, Bose ControlSpace EX-440C processor and a PowerSpace P2600A amplifier, and is fully certified for Barco ClickShare Conference. Regardless of the in-ceiling audio solution selected, IT managers can be confident meeting rooms of all sizes will be truly integrated.
